All Things Easter!

Hooray for spring! I look at this picture and still can't believe I'm lucky enough to have 3 beautiful daughters:) I grew up up with 3 brothers so having a house full of little women sure is a lot of fun.

We had a little neighborhood egg decorating party, which was about the third egg dying session we'd held that week, because we just couldn't get enough! We dyed the eggs and once dry we attached glue dots and rolled them in glitter. Mary made her yummy creamy potato soup and Lawni made rolls. We were saying that we should have had dinner and just let the kids play, we had to really convince them to come up and do eggs!

Tru girl starting out the set of photos from Grandma Jill and Grandpa Don's house. They were finishing the basement and it was snowy outside, so in between sessions of conference,
the dads went down to the construction site and hid the eggs.

Probably one of my favorite pictures of the day! I said," stand by Tru Levi and I'll take your picture," so he hunched over and gave me his happiest pose!

Never to old for a good hunt. Brynn begged her dad to hide some really hard ones for her:)

Alayna is 6, well 7 months old

Look at my big girl! Time goes by way too fast. Alayna is now 7 1/2 months old.
Some updates on our little gal are:
She weighs 18 lbs.!!
She is not crawling or rolling over:)
She prefers to scoot backward when moving somewhere.
She loves her daddy and has learned to call him by name: ( da da da)
She can also be very disagreeable and enjoys shaking her head "no!"
She is a great eater, but would like to be in charge and hold the spoon.
Loves to play peek aboo with her sisters. They can really get her laughing.
Looks like a cute little bunny with the two bottom teeth she has pushed up.
Loves to be outside in the sunshine
Is genuinely enjoyed and loved by all of us

We are so grateful for Brynn! She truly does make the house more fun and exciting when she's around. Brynn is in her 4th year of ballet training and loves every minute of it. She can be found dancing everywhere she goes! Brynn really is the problem solver in our house. Her younger sister has a hard time eating her dinner and completing chores and instead of complaining, Brynn just makes a game out of it and helps her through it. Brynn would really like to babysit for us now. As much as Seth and I would love that we've got to wait a couple of years. Brynn has become a bookworm and complains when other activities cut into her reading time. She truly is a great friend, because she is so naturally kind to everyone she comes in contact with. She just came that way, we can't take any credit!

Board games didn"t have enough action after awhile so there were a number of physical challenges that began. There was some stiff competition with the hula hooping!

Brynn got a version of "Dance, Dance Revolution" for Christmas. It was popular for all, even the boys as you can see:)

Alayna was the living party favor that everybody kept passing around. Needless to say all the action from the party wore her out and she took a nice long nap!

Let's finish the holidays before it's spring!

Christmas Day at Grandma Jill's and Grandpa Don"s

I almost said Kira having her first bath! Alayna having her first bath in Grandma Jill's sink. All the babies bathe there. And apparently all my babies look exactly the same at this age!

The day after Christmas all bundled up to go sledding. Some day those boys will be taller than Brynn:)

This is at the cabin in Frances that we rented after Christmas. Everybody was able to be there together. We had a blast! Especially at night when put all the kids to bed in one room and left Brynn to tend them. We thought they all slept great in there until the morning when we found out Brynn was up several different times, getting kids drinks, taking them to the bathroom and comforting them when they got scared. She said Levi even ended up sleeping on top of her one night. We can always count on Brynn to be a good mother hen. It's good she came first!

We rented snowmobiles which would take the men away for hours on end. They would come home comparing whose machine was the strongest and the fastest. It always a contest!

This cabin had it all. Ping Pong table, big screen, a great kitchen, a play room for the kids and this cute little table for the kids to sit at(fight over?) at meal time.

They also had these little minature arm chairs and Brynn was constantly putting Alayna in them. She fits pretty good with that chubby tummy.

All you have to do is look Autmun's way and she is all smiles! We sure love that these two will get to grow up together!

First bowl of baby mush! Yum, yum. I decided to do this on a school night to see if she would sleep through the night. But, ofcorse the girls wanted to watch so nobody got to bed on time that night. Oh well.
